About 20 watts

20 Watts Magazine was created to be the voice of Syracuse University’s rich music community. Though we have spent the past few years expanding our reach to share our love of regional, national, and international musical trends in today’s culture, we are "rebranding" and returning to our roots. Launching in Fall 2023, 20 Watts will be "The Premier Publication For Syracuse University’s Music Scene," covering artists, concerts, and other music-related events on campus and in the city of Syracuse. Through artist interviews, house show and local concert coverage, and more exclusive content, we aim to boost the reach of the talented up-and-coming artists in the Syracuse community.

On our website and social media pages, you will find cultural analysis, creative thought, and above all, an unwavering love for music. We crafted this publication to be a home for expression, and we hope you find yourself reflected in these pages. Happy listening!
